Senior Engineer - Trading Desk
Senior backend engineer role building and maintaining tooling for the Trading Desk. Works within the Trading Desk team to integrate trading systems and improve execution reliability.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal trading tools
- Integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, and internal systems via APIs
- Improve reliability, scalability, latency, and observability of systems
- Automate manual trading operations to reduce operational risk
- Participate in development lifecycle: coding, review, testing, debugging
What they're looking for
- 5-6 years professional software engineering experience in trading systems
- Proficiency in Python or Go, C++ knowledge is advantageous
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX connectivity
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle, risk controls, and execution workflows
- Experience with cloud and infra tooling like AWS, Docker, Terraform
