Applied Science - Research Engineer (Robotics)
Research engineer role building and deploying robotics models for perception, navigation and manipulation. Part of applied science/robotics efforts working with cross-functional teams and clients.
What you'll do
- Run pre-training, post-training and deploy models on large clusters
- Generate and curate image-text and video-text datasets
- Build evaluators and benchmarks for perception and navigation tasks
- Develop tools and frameworks for data, training, evaluation and deployment
- Manage research projects and communicate with client research teams
What they're looking for
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Expert with PyTorch or JAX
- Experience with VLM, VLA models and simulation tools like Isaac SIM
- Write clean, readable, high-performance Python code
- Proven track record from projects, professional work or academia
