Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer role focused on building and scaling Thunes' cloud-native data platform. The role sits within the data engineering/platform team responsible for streaming, batch, governance and data modelling for business reporting.

What you'll do

• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines with Python and SQL
• Manage containerised workloads and automate infrastructure orchestration
• Maintain and evolve streaming and real-time replication systems
• Define and implement data governance and automated validation protocols
• Translate business requirements into performant data models

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering role on distributed platforms
• Experience with cloud-native data ecosystems, preference for AWS or GCP
